Volunteer

The Snowmass Rodeo couldn't happen without our volunteers, including the Snowmass Village Rotary Club. Since its founding in 1991, the Snowmass Village Rotary Club continues to grow with about 50 current members. Snowmass Village registers about 2,000 permanent residents, which encourages Rotary members to be active in this small resort community. For a small club, its accomplishments are impressive: It has distributed to local causes including Aspen Camp School for the Deaf, Aspen Music M.O.R.E. Program, Aspen Youth Center, the Buddy Program, Catholic Charities, Challenge Aspen, Christmas Wish, Computer for Kids, Lift Up, Little Red School House, Roaring Fork Hospice, Spellbinders, Toys for Tots, Youth Zone as well as national causes, such as Alzheimer's Association, American Disabled Vets, and disaster relief in Florida. At the Snowmass Rodeo, Rotary representatives can be found in the ticket booths and parking lot, at the entry gate, signing up mutton busters and at the petting zoo.

Many other community residents also serve as volunteers. All of the guys and gals in the arena, handling gates, and moving stock are volunteers. We welcome anyone who loves rodeo or just enjoys being part of an exciting, entertaining event.
